Mike Schuler is a gifted craftsman who possesses a rare talent for previsualizing a complex project involving traditional carpentry and cabinetmaking skills combined with an encyclopedic knowledge of art and architecture. Recently he has designed and built a fence that perfectly matches the style of our 70 year old architect-designed house, retooling and fine tuning the dimensions until they mesh perfectly with the proportions of the exterior walls and the look of our yard.
He and his apprentice Boyd labored long hours, many times until long after sunset, to complete our project on time. Their attention to every detail is simply outstanding.
Our new Mike Schuler fence is a rock solid, gleaming white wall.Our old fence was a fence; Mike’s fence is a work of art, a minimalist piece of functional sculpture.
